Update from your local Neighbourhood Team
Dear Members
Here’s an update from myself and the rest of the team.
What’s Been Happening
Incidents and Suspicious Behaviour
Please find most recent incidents on the wards of what has been happening in October.
Wednesday 15/10/2025 into Thursday 16/10/25 Bennetts Road South. Offender(s) have forced ground floor window. Sofas, beds with mattresses and television have been stolen.
Monday 13/10/25 Holbrook Lane Plots targeted for copper piping.
Wednesday 01/10/25 @ 9.20 pm Off Bennetts Road Suspicious behaviour reported.
Previously
In September we had one report of fuel siphoning from machinery and three reports of copper being stolen from different sites, one theft appears to have happened at 02:00 am.
Actions
Your neighbourhood team have been patrolling our new build sites and building on intelligence. On an adjacent ward, boilers have been stolen. We are currently making enquiries with Warwickshire Police after they recovered a number of boilers from a van.
Advice
Please, if you don’t already, mark property and valuables. We often recover stolen items and cannot reunite them with their rightful owners or prove that they have been stolen which ultimately lets the thief or handler get away with it!
Covert traceable liquids can be used which is a deterrent and assists Police to identify stolen items. Visible markings can also be a valuable deterrent as it makes it difficult for a thief to dispose of making is less desirable to steal in the first place. Until next time Stay safe everyone.
